Will do :)

Sorry, I've been slow at getting around to comments, but my plan is to export everyone over sometime soon. Will make some sort of post about it when I do it

This is very interesting because I’m trying to figure out a way to do something similar. Only, in my idea, I’m going to put all my fiction on my website blog, behind a password paywall, and just use Substack the way I used to use MailChimp. Monthly email updates. This would allow me to do exactly what you said, turn my website into a sort of portfolio for my fiction work. I’ve moved my Substack posts to my website but the organizing of it will take a considerable amount of time. You have given me food for thought if only because I like to use my website as a back up if nothing else, of my posts.

Ooo, I'd be keen to check it out, if you get it fully up and running.

I love Substack, but I do feel like I exist on a social media platform as opposed to a personal space sometimes, and so I really do love the feel of having my own little corner of the internet to post things.

I'm very sympathetic to how long it takes to get it all done. There's a few disjointed bits in some of my old posts that transferred over (as well as a handful of links that don't work too well) just because it already took me hours upon hours to do the basics. It's particularly frustrating, especially when everything already exists on Substack and looks fine, and I did catch myself wondering "what am I even doing" at a couple points, but I will say that the feeling at the end squashes all of that

I do really like your idea of having Substack becoming used purely for updates though. That sounds like it could work quite well
